WHERE TO OBTAIN VOUCHERS FOR TNR:
- BARC (Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care) is the city of Houston organization that provides vouchers for TNR with surgery at their location on Carr Street. Email BARCtnr@houstontx.gov for more information. If your colony is within city limits, registering as a colony manager with them protects you and your colony from complaining neighbors threatening harm to the colony.
- HOPE (Homeless and Orphaned Pet Endeavor) provides vouchers by application at their website. Feral Cats | HOPE also has a list of resources available for feral cats.
- Feral Program at CAP (Citizens for Animal Protection) provides vouchers for the west and north sides of Houston. Learn more at https://www.cap4pets.org/programs/feral-cats.org
- Safe Haven’s goal is to work with Houston Pets Alive and become an organization whose membership is allowed to use their veterinary services.
