Are you managing a feral colony of 5 or more TNR’d feral cats? Join our greater Houston Association as a member , and you can be eligible for food, shelter(s) and basic first aid pharmaceuticals as they become available. If you have a neighbor who needs assistance with feral cats, please help them TNR and manage their colony. By joining together, we are creating an organized group of “microshelters” for cats that are not adoptable as pets.
Currently there are no resources available, but our goal is to work with manufacturers of such products to get them donated and delivered to member colony managers. Membership will require a colony site visit by SHCA staff four times a year at feeding time to verify the number of feral cats. The $20 annual membership fee covers the cost of these site visits. Pets (socialized or indoor cats) are not eligible to receive donations.
